libdata-transformer-perl software package provides Perl module to traverse data structures, altering them in place, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdata-transformer-perl
libdata-transformer-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdata-transformer-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdata-transformer-perl *
You will get with libdata-transformer-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
